Andy Sinclair
(Artistic Associate)
A native of small town southern
Illinois, Andy is proud to make Hubris Productions his professional theatre
home. Andy is a graduate of Illinois State University with degrees in
Acting and Theatre Education. He was also the winner of the 2003 American
College Theatre Festival Irene Ryan Award, which gave him the privilege to
perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. As an actor, Andy has
appeared in dozens of shows including Costard in Love’s Labour’s Lost
(Illinois Shakespeare Festival), Leopold in Never the Sinner, Antonio in
The Tempest, Sir Andrew in Twelfth Night and, most recently,
Darius in Hubris Productions’ Jeffrey. He has also recently
directed productions of Tom Stoppard’s On the Razzle, The Laramie
Project, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and assistant
directed the Illinois High School Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS.
Andy has also had the opportunity to work in Theatre Outreach programs with
Northlight Theatre, Illinois High School Theatre Festival, Homewood Summer
Theatre and Lincoln Trail College Children’s Theatre. He is most proud,
however, of his “day job” as a theatre instructor at Maine East High School.
